On December 6, the Public Organization “Women and Society Association” (WSA), as part of the project “Enhancing Organizational Capacity by Attracting New Members”, with the support of the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), held a Round Table. The main purpose of the event was to discuss the results of the project implementation, identify the needs of potential members of the organization, and determine the most in-demand services for WSA members.
The Round Table was attended by representatives of the Department for Women and Family Affairs, regional government authorities of the Sughd region, development partners, public organizations, a representative of the Private Sector Development Union of Tajikistan, project researchers, new members of the organization, and independent experts.
During the event, the project coordinator, Sh. Nurova, presented the goals and objectives of the project. This was followed by a presentation by S. Zoirova, who shared the successful experience of cooperation between the Private Sector Development Union of Tajikistan and its permanent members. Participants also learned about the successful practices of European associations, which were presented by R. Kraplich, an expert invited by CIPE.
Another significant component of the project was research aimed at identifying priority services for WSA members. The findings of this research were shared by independent expert H. Rasulova.
The final part of the Round Table involved small group discussions. Participants developed ideas to strengthen relationships between WSA, stakeholders, and members. They identified the needs of potential WSA members and proposed possible services for the organization’s members.
